Early Community Sponsorships & Grants Local groups, clubs, schools and organisations are invited to apply for sponsorship from The Pines Wind Farm. Organisations in the Oberon Local Government Area, plus the suburbs of Triangle Flat, Bald Ridge and Abercrombie River, are eligible for $1,000 to $5,000 in funding. What sponsorship is available? Sponsorship is available for opportunities which will benefit local communities near the wind farm proposal site. This includes health and social welfare, safety, environmental, educational, youth projects, sport and recreation, culture, the arts and economic development. There will be $50,000 available over two rounds of funding per year throughout the investigations and planning phases. When do applications close?
